BJF Group’s Construction and MEP Residential Divisions have recently completed and handed over a circa £3m new build apartment project on Fairfield Road, Croydon.
Working with Employer’s Agent calfordseaden for PA Housing, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of social housing, this scheme included the demolition of an existing property and construction of two blocks of apartments as well as external landscaping.
The two blocks of high quality, modern flats named ‘Ashcroft’ by PA Housing make excellent use of the relatively small amount of available land on the site which BJF Group had to negotiate via the use of a tower crane and other specialist equipment and techniques.
During the project the team received complimentary reports from the Considerate Constructors Scheme which commented on our commitment to site safety and wellbeing.
The apartments are available through shared ownership and thus provide a much-needed, quicker and more affordable route on to the property ladder ideally suited to young people and families.
BJF Group has also supported PA Housing’s marketing efforts by utilising our Matterport camera to create 3D walkthroughs of each apartment for use on the sales area of their website.
