Working on behalf of JB Hopkins, BJF Group’s MEP Residential Division has secured a new project comprising of the electrical fit out of 150 one- and two-bedroom apartments in Redhill, Surrey.

The works are part of an £80m redevelopment by main contractor Vinci Construction which is expected to be completed by Summer 2022. This major project will deliver the aforementioned residential units as well as a multi-screen cinema, shops, and restaurants and will regenerate a previously underutilised space.

The aim of Reigate and Banstead Borough Council is that the development will attract local people to spend their leisure time in Redhill as well as providing new, conveniently located housing for private rental and breathing a new lease of life into the Town Centre.

Works commenced on site in early 2020 and significant progress has been made to date on the build with the concrete frame due for completion in October 2021 and much of the building now watertight.

Daryl Hill, Head of MEP Residential at BJF Group said:

“The BJF Group team is excited to work with JB Hopkins and begin the electrical fit out of what is a landmark project for the area.”
