BJF Group’s Mechanical and Electrical Division has secured two new Design and Build projects working in partnership with finishing and fit-out contractor Lucas UK Group.

Both projects are for high end residential developments in London.

The first of the two projects is a £700k full Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEPH) fit out of a resident’s bar, lounge and cinema room for Berkeley Homes. MEP fit out includes a plant room, two air handling units, 9 fan coil units, supply and extract ductwork, kitchen extract fire rated ductwork, a sprinkler system and BMS integration. Electrically we will be installing LED strip lighting, small power and the cinema system.

MEP design is being undertaken in collaboration with Hawden MEP and includes the production of a 3D Revit model to aid the prefabrication of pipework, setting out and coordination of services.

The second project also encompasses all Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health elements. The £200k project will involve BJF Group fitting out a high-end Marketing suite. The high-spec fit out will include air conditioning, domestic services, LED lighting, emergency lighting, small power and audio-visual equipment. MEP design was undertaken in collaboration with Energy Engineering who managed a lead role at the time of the project appointment with BJF Group.

Having worked together for several years we are delighted to have secured further works with Lucas UK Group to continue our close working relationship.
