A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of HR to join BJF Group and lead the company through an exciting period of growth.  You will need to balance best practice with commercial pressures, get buy-in on people strategies from senior management and persuade employees to change their workplace fundamentals for the greater good.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for continuing to develop HR function and strategy, recruitment processes and seeking to improve employee relations across the Group. This is a highly visible role and one in which you will really be able to make an impact understanding that discretion and confidentiality are key.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Work collaboratively with HR team members.
  • Design and develop onboarding procedures.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Represent the HR department professionally building lasting relationships with Directors, Senior Management team and the workforce.
  • Translate key data into an effective and commercially focused HR and people strategy, working with senior management and influencing them on the best course of action.

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent generalist knowledge of HR/L&D/OD and Recruitment
  • CIPD Level 7 Qualified/Chartered Member status (Essential)
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Innovative and pro-active approach to a varying workload with an ability to multi-task
  • Flexible and cooperative always, working as a member of the team
  • Can-do attitude – someone who can bring solutions and contribute ideas.
