Mechanical Engineer

We are recruiting for a Mechanically qualified engineer to join our team working on a number of prestigious contracts throughout Kent and the South East.

Reporting into the Contract Manager this role will carry out assigned day to day delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance tasks assigned to you on a wide range of different types of properties. There will be opportunities to get involved in additional works and small projects.

Essential skills:

• Maintenance biased with Multi-Skilled experience
• Good communications skills written and verbal
• Client facing
• Open to dealing with other forms of work such as installations
• Capable of working on own initiative and without supervision
• Able to adapt to quickly changing environments and client’s requirements
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent organisational skills / Time management /Ability to prioritise and organise own workload/ able to work to deadlines
• Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements

Qualifications required

• Mechanical – City & Guilds Level 3 or Equivalent
• Building Maintenance Experience
• Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
• Valid driving licence

A DBS check and appropriate security clearance will be required for this role.
