Due to sustained growth we are recruiting for a mechanically qualified Working Supervisor to join our Facilities Management Division on a busy contract.

Reporting into the Operations Manager the role will be to ensure & oversee the day to day delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.

The role includes the daily supervision of both engineers and sub-contractors and whilst it is a hands on role, it is essential that the candidate will be familiar with Microsoft software and have experience of using client data to ensure effective delivery.

This role will require a DBS check and appropriate security clearance.

Essential skills:

  • Proven sound knowledge of HVAC systems across the building services sector
  • City and Guilds NVQ level 3 in mechanical engineering or recognised equivalent.
  • Experience with developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills.
  • A flexible approach to the work/client’s requirements and be prepared to lead by example.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety guidelines, statutes and ACOPs.
  • Good organisation skills
  • Excellent fault-finding ability
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • Line management experience (desirable)

  • Ensure technical standards of engineers remain high
