We’re proud to showcase the completed refurbishment of the Neesoon Hut at Buckley Barracks, a project delivered by BJF Group in partnership with VIVO Defence Services. This initiative was a fantastic example of social value in action, enhancing a much-loved Messing Hut that holds a special place in the Gurkha community.
Inside, the hut has received a full interior redecoration, upgraded lighting, a modernised kitchen, and improved windows. Essential roof repairs were also completed, ensuring the building is safe, comfortable, and welcoming for years to come. Outside, we delivered a range of improvements to support outdoor cooking and socialising, creating spaces where the Gurkha community can come together and enjoy their surroundings.
