BJF Group is pleased to announce the successful completion of the roof structure at Martello Manor, a state-of-the-art 66-bed care home currently under construction in Hythe, Kent. This significant milestone brings the project to its midpoint and underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality facilities that meet the evolving needs of the community.
The topping out ceremony, held on October 7, 2025, was attended by The Right Worshipful Town Mayor of Hythe, Councillor Stephen Bailey, along with representatives from Boutique Care Homes and the Hythe Dementia Forum. The event celebrated the completion of the roof and marked a step closer to providing exceptional residential, dementia, and short-stay care in a thoughtfully designed environment.
Paul Newstead, Construction Director at BJF Group, commented on the progress:
“Reaching the topping out stage is a testament to the hard work and collaboration of all involved. We are proud to be part of a project that will offer a warm and supportive home for future residents.”
Martello Manor is scheduled to open in mid-2026 and will feature ensuite bedrooms, landscaped gardens, a bistro, hair and beauty salon, and dedicated spaces for wellbeing and activities. The development reflects a shared vision of creating a place where residents can thrive and remain connected to the Hythe community.
