BJF Group has been awarded a fifth residential mechanical and electrical project with main contractor Guildmore for Southwark Council.

BJF Group’s MEP Residential Division has secured a fifth major mechanical and electrical fit out project working in partnership with London based main contractor Guildmore. This is also our third Guildmore-led scheme for end-client Southwark Council.

The project will see a team from BJF Group complete all the internal M&E works across 50 apartments as well as installing air source heat pumps, solar panels, a sprinkler system and fitting out the substation which serves the apartment block.

We have already completed an initial phase of the project incorporating soil stacks and ventilation and have received glowing praise from the client. They have been especially impressed with our Mechanical Site Supervisor Thomas Lunn who received a Quality Award for excellent standards of Health and Safety and dedication to teamwork.

David Sole, Guildmore Site Manager for the Renforth Street scheme said:

“We want to congratulate Thomas Lunn on his excellent standards of health and safety along with his greatly appreciated mindset and efforts to continue to work as a team for the overall progress and productivity of the Renforth Street project, he is a big advantage to have on your BJF team.”
