BJF Group’s M&E division has completed a full Mechanical and Electrical installation as part of a major refurbishment of a historic London mansion in Kensington.
The property has undergone a major renovation whilst retaining many of its original features and ornate details.
The mechanical works included a new heating system, domestic hot water distribution system, underfloor heating, a full mechanical control system, gas distribution system and new drainage. We also installed bespoke cast iron radiators and custom-made sanitary ware.
On the electrical side BJF installed decorative lighting, lighting control throughout the property and full electrical distribution.
Because of the heritage of the property special care had to be taken to preserve the building’s character and BJF worked alongside a number of specialist designers and architects to complete the works.
The result of the renovation was a vibrant and distinctive house with a combination of modern fixtures and fittings whilst maintaining a nod to the unique history of the property.
