Working for main contractor Skanska, BJF Group’s Mechanical & Electrical and Project Services Divisions have secured a new project to refurbish two floors of office space above Leadenhall Market.
Nestled in the heart of London, Leadenhall is a Grade II Listed Market with history dating back to the Romans. Underneath its iconic arches sits a whole host of boutique stores, food outlets and office spaces.
As a key supplier on the City of London contract since 2018, BJF Group have completed works on many prestigious London spaces including Tower Bridge, Heathrow Airport, the Barbican Centre and the Central Criminal Court.
Lasting around three months, this particular project will see the team completely strip out the circa 250 m2 of offices before completing a range of improvements, upgrades and repairs to both the building fabric and services.
The works will result in a higher quality, refreshed finish providing a more comfortable, modern and appealing working environment for the occupiers of the building, ensuring that the internals of the offices are in keeping with the market itself.
