BJF Group’s MEP Residential Division has been selected as the Mechanical and Electrical contractor for a 135-apartment fit out project in Brighton.

Having awarded us the electrical fit out of the major Marketfield Way development earlier this year, JB Hopkins has once again enlisted the support of BJF Group’s MEP Residential Division.

This is our second project for JB Hopkins and is for the combined M&E package at a six storey, 135-apartment / townhouse project in Pelham Street, Brighton.

The high-quality, sustainable scheme was designed by HNW Architects for Osborne Developments and comprises one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments as well as four townhouses. It is located in the popular North Laine area of Brighton.

BJF Group’s MEP team anticipate a start date at the end of September 2022, kicking off with the initial quality assurance benchmarking process to present and agree on installation standards and acceptable practices. The whole project is expected to complete in 2023.

Daryl Hill, Head of BJF Group’s MEP Residential Division said:

“We are delighted to be appointed for this contract, securing repeat business with our client JB Hopkins.

After working with JB Hopkins to complete a very successful delivery to the electrical fit out of 150 plots at Marketfield Way, we are very pleased to have been given this opportunity to undertake the combined M&E fit out of 135 plots.

We look forward to illustrating our capabilities for the mechanical element, whilst further enhancing our reputation delivering the high standards of electrical installation and QA processes completed at Marketfield way”
